Description

Richly adorned female figurines offer insights into the costumes, hairstyle, jewellery, and possibly the belief systems of the time. These figurines, often thought to be mother goddess, may have been related to fertility. Examples of necklaces made of clay, carnelian and other stones and a contemporary example of Harappan waist band can be seen here.
