Description
During the 3rd millennium BCE, chlorite objects from Iran were widely traded to Mesopotamia, Sumer, the Persian Gulf, the Harappan region, and Uzbekistan. Valued as luxury items, these dark green vessels featured intricate geometric or natural designs, often inlaid with shell or semi–precious stones. They were most likely owned by elites.
